Park City, Utah: March 2011

We arrived in Utah, and Jordan fell asleep at the dinner table.  The 3 hour time difference made it really hard.  But, she woke up in time to eat and we had a great night!
Park City, Utah!  It was the kids first trip to Utah and it would be their first time skiing.  The only bad part was that we had to leave Christy and David at home.  :-(

Sommar, Jordan and Peter were ready for their first time swimming in the snow!  They had a great time, but it was really, really cold!
So, we had to warm up in front of the fire place when we got back to the room.

Getting ready for our first day of skiing!!

This is Mr. Mac.  The best and greatest ski instructor.  He was so great with the kids and taught them how to ski in less than a day.  We had a great first day of skiing.

 My 3 little ski bunnies.

 Wipeout!
 Day 2.

Our hotel, The Montage.  It was really beautiful.

Swimming in the snow, again.  They loved the little robes that fit them perfectly.  They wore them every chance that they got.

S'mores in the snow!  Every day around 3:00pm the hotel would provide s'mores and hot chocolate.  They had three flavors of marshmallows and it was all you can eat.  We all had a blast!
Our hotel had a bowling alley in it.  We all bowled one night.
 More and more s'mores!

We took a walk in downtown Park City.  Then, we met Mr. Akers for dinner.  He just happened to be in Park City at the same time that we were.
Warming up by the fire place.  This is one of my favorite pictures.  It basically sums up our trip.  It was warm and peaceful and so much fun.  We had a great time as a family and created many memories.

March 2011

David is about 1 month old here.  Christy is feeding her little brother.
So the kids made him a crown because he is King David.  I thought this was so sweet.  They actually helped to name him.  We had been reading about David in the Bible around the time that we found out we were pregnant.  So, of course, the name stuck and we have our very own King David.
David just loves his big brother.
Peter shot a turkey and the kids were so excited.
Jordan kept playing with the head.
Only true hunters can appreciate Peter Jr.'s pose here.  He;s watched waaaaaaay to many hunting shows.

 The kill!

One of my favorite pictures of David.
Peter Jr. had Sammy over for some Lego time!
Sommar's class had a special visitor today.  They've been studying animals so Mrs. Fulford brought in a real chicken.  They observed the chicken all day and logged their observations.

Jordan's Kindergarten class went to see the play Charlotte's Web.  They had just finished reading the book.  It was such a cute play and we had a great time.
The kids pose and take a picture with Charlotte!
