Sommar gave David a gift on the morning that he was to be born. February 7th, 2011.
She knitted him a hat and a pair of booties. She did this on her own without any help. She is so thoughtful and creative and I was blown away with how perfectly the hat fit him.
Christy is getting ready to be a big sister!
So this is me in pre-op. We had to wait for Dr. McAlpine to arrive so that we could begin. He had an emergency hysterectomy that he had to perform so this delayed my scheduled surgery time. This only added to my nervousness and anxiety about having my fifth cesarean. I was a mess and very emotional. But, God is faithful and he provided me with the most amazing nurses and the absolute best nurse anesthetist that I have ever had.

Our little man.
This is me getting to see and kiss David for the first time! My first impression was that he looked just like Peter Jr. when he was born. I was so happy and excited but ready for the surgery to be over with.
David was 8 pounds, 5.6 ounces and 21 inches long.
Tiny feet.
This is me with the best nurses in Tallahassee.
